The Organization, Staff selection Commission is structured under Government Of India. SSC handles recruitment to recruit government officials in different departments. It is combined with Department Of Personnel and Training (DoPT). Earlier SSC was named as Subordinate Service commission but it was renamed as Staff Selection Commission on September 26th, 1977. It started functioning with the new constitution from 1st June 1999. Every year they conduct recruitments and this year they had issued an advertisement for SSC Stenographer Grade C and Grade D posts. SSC Stenographer examination was held in the month of July on 31st, 2016. Aspirants can check out whether they are shortlisted or not. Candidates are shortlisted based on the marks obtained. SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Results 2016
SSC examination was held to recruit Stenographer Grade C and D. Aspirants are shortlisted based on the SSC Stenographer Cut Off Marks 2016. Contenders who got selected are moved to further rounds conducted by the department of Staff Selection Commission. SSC Stenographer Skill Test 2016
After the completion of the written test, aspirant had to wait for the results for about 3-4 months. Later contenders who got shortlisted are allowed to attend for skill test. In this test, the postulate is given a dictation test for about 10 minutes in two languages that are in English and Hindi. Other details are mentioned in the below table. Postulate who clears this round will be selected for the posts mentioned. Schedule for SSC Stenographer Skill Test 2016 is announced after the declaration of results.

SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Final results in 2016
Aspirants got selected in the skill test is assigned for the post of SSC Stenographer Grade C and D. If both the candidates are having an equal aggregate that is a tie between them, there are few steps to be done.
1. First, they compare the marks obtained in the written test.
2. Later they check DOB and older postulate is placed higher.
3. Then they check the alphabetical order of candidates name.
